Motivation, games and the communicative competence in English

Abstract

Communicative tasks are a key factor to learn a foreign language. To transform them into linguistic games can mean an increase in the motivation for the learning of English as a foreign language. Some of the games elaborated and applied successfully in the context of the Arts school “Pedro Raúl Sánchez” are explained here. They are part of the scientific result of one of its author in trying to become a Master. There appear some methodological recommendations for its appropriate use too.
