Abstract

Currently higher education demands for greater efficiency and effectiveness, not only in terms of raising the technical-professional level of its graduates, but also in their overall training. That is why one of the challenges facing higher education in Cuba today, is given in further training of professionals with comprehensive training to enhance the country's development. This article deals with the Amateur Artists Movement as an active and integral part of University Extension and the possibility that it occupies its right place within the university cultural actions.
