Abstract
This article synthetically contains some essential ideas on the category civil
society, from the origin of its theoretical formulation. The interpretations of neoliberalism theorists are also criticized, when trying to use this term to justify their blind faith in the market and in privatization as mechanisms of exploitation and of enrichment.
