The functions of the arithmetic problems in the teaching of mathematics

Abstract
In this article it is stated the author’s criteria about the so called arithmetic problems. In each of them some arguments and suggestions are given about how to proceed in our primary school classrooms for their informal achievement. They are presented under a developing learning viewpoint.
