An example of the defense of our educational identity

Abstract

In this article you can read about an example of the Cuban educational tradition, Doctor José Elpidio Pérez Somossa, an educator from Pinar del Río, who made his sense of national identity great, starting from his pedagogic conception, always characterized by a confrontation with traditional teaching, and always addressed to achieve that the teaching learning process respond to the Cuban student's psychological, physical and contextual characteristics.
