University teaching and use of ICT

Abstract

The rapid development of science and technology, at present, demands flexible and accessible education systems, less expensive and that citizens can incorporate throughout life. To meet these challenges, academic institutions promote innovative experiences in the teaching-learning processes supported by ICT. The emphasis, therefore, is given in the form of teaching, changes in teaching strategies of teachers and communication systems and distribution of learning materials. To do this, it requires active knowledges, participation and motivation of teachers, but also needs a strong institutional commitment.
