Abstract
The correlation History-literature reaches in nowadays Cuban school a dimension that needs to be revitalized by professors who integr ate Humanity Departments, because to teach the subjects of this knowledge area implies a correct knowledge of the history of each time, so that the transcendence of the artistic work is similar to its importance in the historical and political process; therefore, it is necessary that teachers have the cognitive and methodological tools that allow them to plan the teaching of both subjects as parts of a whole that will contribute to the integral formation of our adolescents and young. It is the objective of this article to meditate on these issues
