Abstract

Sergio Llinás belongs to those teachers with whom you can apply the qualifier
martiano, “men's sower.” He left deep prints in teachers generations he educated; mainly, he printed performance ways, attitudes in front of what was new in the pedagogic science, in front of the vital task of leading the teaching-learning process that concerns the teacher, before the appropriation of modern technics and methods that stimulate the student's protagonism. All his pedagogic parsimony constituted a model for those who had the honorable privilege of being his pupils and work partners. In this article we offer a synthesis of his life and work to the service of Pinar del Río education.
